Prepare to Configure an ISDN Router

Before you configure the Cisco router, you need the following information.

From your ISDN service provider, telephone company, or administrator of your company's network, get the following ISDN configuration information:

Get the following information from your Internet service provider:

IP address for your PC
IP subnet mask for your PC
IP address for your router's Ethernet interface
IP address of your Domain Name System (DNS) server
Administrative password that you or your service provider will use to manage your router
Authentication password that your router will use when connecting to the service provider
