The purpose of this guide is to familiarize you with the AS5200 Manager application and its online help system, and to help you get ready to explore its features.

The AS5200 Manager is a software application that enables you to remotely view, monitor, configure, and troubleshoot the Cisco AS5200 Universal Access Server. The AS5200 Manager also includes modem management.

The AS5200 Manager is accessed from within the CiscoView 3.1(1) UNIX environment that runs on a SunOS 4.1.x operating system. For details on system requirements, see Chapter 2, "Installing the AS5200 Manager."
