This section lists StrataCom publications and gives a brief description of each:

• System Manual
  

This manual provides an introduction to StrataCom cell-relay networks, a brief description of network services (features) provided, a discussion of networking with StrataCom cell relay products, a detailed theory of operations, and a system troubleshooting discussion.

• BPX Reference Manual
  

This manual provides a general description of the BPX, BPX hardware description, installation, node troubleshooting, unit replacement, cabling, and peripheral equipment used with the BPX broadband node.

• AXIS Reference Manual
  

This manual provides a general description of the AXIS, a hardware description, installation, configuration, and operation instructions, troubleshooting, unit replacement, and cabling information.

• IPX Reference Manual
  

This manual provides a general description of the IPX, IPX hardware description, installation, node troubleshooting, unit replacement, cabling, and peripheral equipment used with the IPX narrowband node.

• IGX Reference Manual
  

This manual provides a general description of the IGX, IGX hardware description, installation, node troubleshooting, unit replacement, cabling, and peripheral equipment used with the IPX narrowband node.

• Command Reference
  

This manual provides detailed information on operating the BPX and IGX/IPX systems. It describes the software commands available for general operation and procedures for performing the various tasks associated with configuring, operating, testing, and administrating the BPX and IGX/IPX.

• StrataView Plus Operations Guide
  

This manual provides procedures for using StrataView Plus to manage a multi-node StrataCom IPX/IGX/BPX network, to collect statistics, display network statistics as tables or histograms, and other operational procedures. It includes a description of all of the features and functions of the StrataView Plus Network Management Workstation.

• StrataView Plus Installation Manual
  

This manual provides procedures for setting up the StrataView Plus workstation, loading the StrataView Plus software using the StrataView Plus Installer installation script, and commencing operation.

• FastPAD User Guide
  

This manual is divided into two parts. Part 1 provides general description of the FastPAD, hardware description, installation, the composite link, networking with the IPX, and cabling. Part 2 describes the software configuration, status display, event log, and testing.

• FastPAD NMS User Guide
  

This manual provides general description and operation of the FastPAD Network Management System for managing FastPAD networks.

• SuperUser Command Reference Manual
  

This manual provides information on using the advanced software commands associated with the SuperUser access level. It is primarily intended for Network Administrators and StrataCom personnel.

• Network Modeling Tool (NMT) Reference Manual
  

This manual describes the network modeling tool, how to operate the NMT, and how to create a model of a network. The resulting model can be used to generate a parts list, estimate network capacity, and test rerouting capability.

• SNMP Proxy Agent Reference Manual
  

This manual describes the SNMP Proxy Agent feature of StrataView Plus and the Proxy Agent MIB.

• Database Interface Reference Manual
  

This manual describes the StrataView Plus database schema and how access to provide custom access to this database.
