Installation Procedure
The steps below describe the installation procedure. You can install from a CD or from diskettes.

Step 2 Select the Run... option from the File menu of the Windows Program Manager or the Windows 95 Start Menu.
Step 3 If you are installing from CD, type D:\disk1\setup (assuming your CD-ROM drive is drive D:) and click on OK.
- If you are installing from diskettes, type A:\setup or B:\setup, depending on which drive you are using, and click on OK.
- You can also use the Browse... button to find the setup.exe executable file. Click on OK when you locate the file, and click on OK again to execute the setup program.
- The software is installed in the install directory and its sub-directories, as specified by the user at the time of installation. If you are installing from diskettes, mount additional diskettes as prompted by the software.

- The Setup program installs TrafficDirector and creates a TrafficDirector icon.
Step 5 Insert the following line in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file (and to the AUTOEXEC.DOS file for Windows 95):
set NSHOME=
install_directory
- install_directory is the drive and directory where you have installed TrafficDirector. For example, set NSHOME=C:\TRAFFDIR.
Step 6 Reboot your PC. If your PC automatically runs Windows, exit Windows and return to the MSDOS prompt.
