There are more than 90 golf courses within a 50 mile stretch of what is referred to as the "Grand Strand". This condo is located in the center. There are numerous golf courses to choose from but the closest are those that you passed coming in on route 501 and several located off of route 707. Visit www.mbga.com for current information. The cost to play is not consistent year round. Early Spring and Fall are the most expensive times to play. Tee times are also harder to get during these periods. To be more exact, I am refering to the months of March, April and October. The cost to play is much more reasonable outside of these time frames. You can usually get a tee time the same day you call if playing in the afternoon. For morning tee times you should call a day or so in advance. For the best bargains, I suggest that you look in the sports section of the local newspaper(The Sun News) for special deals . There are usually plenty to choose from. The golf map shows the location of all the golf courses in the area.
